50% Dark Milk — Milk & Honey

Made with single-plantation Amazonica Trinitario cacao from Hacienda San José in Los Ríos, Ecuador.

This is still my 50% dark milk, so you get that deep brownie thing I love about it, but these beans take it somewhere else. There’s this really nice honey flavor right up front, a little nuttiness underneath it, and then this light fruit note shows up at the end.

Add the milk and it all gets softer and rounder without losing the chocolate.

Honestly, “Milk & Honey” was kind of unavoidable.

It’s rich, chocolatey, not too sweet, and ridiculously easy to keep eating. If you like milk chocolate but wish it actually tasted like cacao, this is probably your bar.
